“So if I were to say that I'm in it for the money, would you think that I’m just greedy?”
So the question came from the university student, to a man decades his senior over a breakfast meeting.
“Let me tell you something,” came the answer without a pause. “Profit is not a dirty word.” Following that remark came a series of hard questions, the sort of thing that should help the young man to determine not just what it is that he wants from life but how to go about doing it.
Good sense is music to my ears in a world of cacophonous piffle.
