Silver Oak 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon
Looking for a special wine recently, I came across the Silver Oak Cellars 1998 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Once seeing its deep ruby red color and getting a scent of its rich and complex nose, I knew I was in for a treat.
It's an intense wine, with lots of fruit, and a nice, long finish. It's actually a blend with composition of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. Niki and I had an excellent bottle that we enjoyed over a relaxed dinner.
The evening in question being quite near our wedding anniversary, we discussed what makes a relationship work well. Among my observations was the following: Nothing feeds a healthy marriage better than a good bottle of wine.
