Caldwell Vineyard is on land that John Caldwell meant to become a subdivision of upscale homes. With every sip of Rocket Science 2004, you'll be happy that things don't always turn out exactly as they might have according to first plan.
The wine is a proprietary red, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. After a pour, give the wine a few moments in the glass and enjoy the nose hinting at what's to come. Red berries make for a fruity wine on the palate. Give it a few moments more and experience dark chocolate and licorice, making for an excellent finish.
This is an easy-to-drink wine that is good to facilitate conversation but will also pair well with a wide variety of food. I had it with a bit of filet mignon. Wonderful stuff.
