Write a Theater Review
In March 2006, I went to see the latest film adaptation of Pride & Prejudice and was sorely disappointed. It wasn't just the film, but nearly everything about the whole experience of going to the movies was completely wrong. This answered immediately a question that had been bothering me: why is it that I sometimes go so long without going to see a movie?
I wrote about this experience and the announcement of my project to rate local movie theaters. Since then, I wrote a couple of reviews.
If you would like to help me with this project, I'd welcome your input. Remember the criteria on which you'll need to score the theater. When mentioning location, please be sure to mention how convenient the location is, including whether there is heavy traffic to get there, whether the location is COTA-accessible, and so on.
To submit a review, you simply need to create an account, then after being logged in, you'll see a navigation element across the top, “My Folder” which you can select. In there, create a new “Document” and fill out the form, with your review in the body itself. Once finished, select the drop-down menu in the top-right part of your review (that says “Visible” by default) and choose “Submit”, which will submit the piece for publication. I'll see it and hopefully it'll be ready to approve.
Note that I reserve the right to edit submissions; in practice I typically do only for typographical purposes.
